What is live AI wig try-on?
iKawn Mirror shows selected wigs and hairstyles on a client’s live camera view. The look stays in place as they turn and move, so the client and stylist can explore it together before choosing a wig or changing a hairstyle.
Does it guarantee final colour or fit?
No. It is a visual preview for consultation, not a guarantee of final colour, fit, texture or appearance. A physical fitting and your specialist’s guidance remain important.
Can it support clients experiencing medical hair loss?
The digital exploration stage lets clients compare looks without putting on shared sample wigs. Studios can offer this in a private consultation for people experiencing hair loss from chemotherapy, alopecia or other medical conditions. It is not a medical treatment or a substitute for fitting, cleaning or clinical advice.
What devices can we use?
Plan an assisted consultation on a tablet, a web-camera setup or an optional kiosk. Mirror for Business is an early-access app built for iOS, Android and web. Device access and suitability of your styles are confirmed during onboarding.
Can clients save or share favourite looks?
Where enabled for your pilot, a favourite look can be saved or a recording shared with the client after consent. Confirm recording delivery and available insights during onboarding. Consent to receive a recording is separate from consent to marketing follow-up.
How are recordings handled?
Demo and paid-session terms differ. Free demos may be recorded and used for disclosed purposes, including marketing. Under the published Privacy Policy, paid try-on content is not used for training or marketing and is deleted after the agreed retention period.
